Philip and Kimberly welcome you to L'Ancienne Ecole Gites. Situated in the village
of Chadeniers,
just 3 kms west of Gemozac and close to the beautiful sandy beaches at Mescher,
St Georges de Didonne and Royan in the sunny Charente
Maritime.
Formerly the village school and attending houses have been fully
refurbished and modernised to offer four bright, spacious, self catering
gites. Each gite faces onto the old
playground and in the centre, you can sit beneath the huge horse chestnut tree
which offers welcome shade on hot sunny days!! Close by is the 10 x 5mtr pool, a full size French Boules Court
and covered games area with Table Tennis and Table Football, cupboards filled with books, games and jigsaws.
Access within the gites is on one level apart from a small step into the shower areas of Fleurs and Lilas and an additional step from the lounge area into the kitchen of Les Lilas, making L’Ancienne Ecole Gites in Charente Maritime an accessible location for disabled or physically infirm people. Each gite is fully equipped and offers spacious and comfortable spaces. Whether it’s the safe sandy beaches, Pineau and Cognac tasting at the
local Chateaux, the hustle and bustle of vibrant Bordeaux or just winding
through fields of sunflowers and vineyards either by car , bike or on foot, L’Ancienne
Ecole Gites are ideally situated to explore the very best of what Charente Maritime and France has to
offer.
