Welcome to L'Ancienne Ecole Gites, French Holiday Gite in France.  Situated in the village of Chadeniers, just 3 kms west of Gemozac in the Charente Maritime and close to the beautiful sandy beaches at Mescher, St Georges de Didonne and Royan in the sunny Charente Maritime.

Formerly the village school, the attending houses have been fully refurbished and modernised to offer two bright, spacious, self catering gites.  Both gites face onto the old playground and in the centre, you can sit beneath the huge horse chestnut tree which offers welcome shade on hot sunny days!!  Close by is the 10 x 5mtr pool, a full size French Boules Court  and covered games area with Table Tennis and Table Football.

Access within the gites is all on one level apart from a small step into the shower areas and an additional step from the lounge area into the kitchen of Les Lilas,  making L’Ancienne Ecole Gites an accessible location for disabled or physically infirm people.Whether it’s the safe sandy beaches, Pineau and Cognac tasting at the local Chateaux, the hustle and bustle of vibrant Bordeaux or just winding through fields of sunflowers and vineyards either by car or bike, L’Ancienne Ecole Gites are ideally situated to explore what the Charente Maritime has to offer.
