Honey from Saintonge
Honey, a pure and natural food, known since the beginning of the humanity, created by bees from the nectar of flowers. Very rich in glucose and in fructose, it can be directly absorbed by the body, Toning and energizing, its composition makes it an excellent food.
As the honey matures there is sometimes a "natural phenomenon " of cristallisation; this does not effect the quality or taste of the honey .
This is honey as it so rarely available in these modern times when honey is collected by huge companies who then mix together all the different honies to achieve a "standard" homogonised honey, one that tastes the same every time, from all sources. The honey from the hives of Michel is only from his hives, and slight differnces in taste can be detected reflecting the differnt flowers and pollen that the bees have collected within a3 kilometre range from the hives. Bee's have a very short life living on average 4 weeks , each day they work from early in the morning till late at night collecting the pollen for other bee's within the hive to convert to the honey we like so much.
