How To Find L'Ancienne Ecole air conditioned Gites in Charente Maritime

From the A10 exit at junction 36 for Cognac, Pons.  When you exit the toll booth, take the first exit at the roundabout direction Cozes, Royan, Gemozac  (D732) .  Continue along the  (D732)  until you reach another roundabout, approx 7mins, then take the first exit and continue to the next roundabout, take the second exit, to your left you will pass the supermarket SUPER U continue over a disused railway line and at the next roundabout take the second exit sign posted for ROYAN   (D732) (the first is a tiny little lane) you now have 1.5 miles to travel, pass the village sign on the right CHADENIERS  (spelt CHARDENIERS) on maps) and a garage selling vans etc, continue round a right hand bend over the stream (we call it a river) a little further on passing the ARTISTS SHOP on the left and you will see the sign for L’Ancienne Ecole Gites   next to last building on the left just before you leave the village.
